Exchange and warranty for frames, lens and sunglasses:

  1. Frames and sunglasses purchased from OPTICAL 88 online store come with a 12 months valid warranty. Please retain the original sales memo, warranty card, entire glasses and any parts (if any) for warranty purposes.
  2. All items sold (whether other products, lens and vouchers) are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless the circumstances under paragraph 3 below apply.
  3. At OPTICAL 88’s discretion, OPTICAL 88 may consider customer’s request for an exchange of frames, sunglasses, and other products purchased at OPTICAL 88 online store (exclude the items which have been stated as non-exchangeable on OPTICAL 88 online store) if:

(a) The frames or sunglasses purchased at OPTICAL 88 online shop are under a valid warranty AND a manufacturing defect is confirmed by OPTICAL 88. Subject to the status of manufacturing defect, OPTICAL 88 may either exchange the product or repair the defective part. Exchange will be limited to the same brand and model only, subject to stock availability.

(b) There is a change in refractive power (confirmed by OPTICAL 88’s optometrist after an eye examination) that causes visual discomfort. In this case, lens may be exchanged within 60 days from the date of the original sales memo. The defective lens must be returned to OPTICAL 88.

  1. Electrical appliances and other products: Customer is required to contact us within 7 days upon receiving the products. If customer requests to exchange the product, customer must exchange the same product and subject to our stock. After 7 days, the product will be under the manufacturer’s warranty period and customer needs to contact the dealer for repair.
  2. All original sales memo, warranty card, spare parts and gift redemptions (if any) are required upon exchanging at our branches. If the item chosen is of lower value, no refund for the price difference will be provided. If the item chosen for exchange is of higher value, customer shall pay the price difference at the time of exchange.
  3. If a gift redemption item or cash coupon (if any) is not returned upon exchange, the retail price of the gift redemption item and/or the value of the cash coupon will be charged to customer.
  4. OPTICAL 88 shall have the right not to provide any written or verbal report for any repairing services and/or product examination. All extra delivery costs will be charged to customer.
  5. In case of dispute, OPTICAL 88 LIMITED reserves the right for final decision. If there is any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
